Safe. Precise. Cost Effective.

Tru Pipe’s Hydro excavation uses pressurized water and an industrial strength vacuum to simultaneously excavate and evacuate soil. Our truck mounted system safely breaks up soil with a 1500 gallon clean water tank with 2,000 psi. The slurry created is then quickly and safely removed by vacuum to a debris tank that can hold 12 cubic yards.

  • Virtually eliminates any risk of underground utility damage.
  • Requires less labor costs, backfill, and restoration.
  • Environmental impact is minimal.
  • Easily access areas where any overhead obstruction may be an issue for traditional methods.
  • Excavating frozen, sandy and sloughing soil made possible year round.
Debris Removal

Over time or during storm conditions, pipelines become clogged with sludge and debris, keeping them from functioning properly. Remove grease, sludge, sand, gravel, dirt, concrete, wood, rocks, debris and sewage safely and efficiently. Our hydro excavation methods can remove debris and pressure clean a variety of structures with minimal impact to the surrounding area.

With Tru Pipe’s fast and non-destructive techniques, our services are ideal for the following:

  • Sewer lines
  • Water lines
  • Underground and aboveground storage tanks
  • Waste water treatment
  • Sump tanks

Exposing Utilities

Uncover areas that are inherently complex, expensive or explosive before you dig. Exposing underground utilities enables you to excavate safely near an electric line, fiber optic cable, water/sewer lines with precision.

Potholing/Daylighting

Work in complex areas with confidence. Know where your lines run by exposing underground utilities without the risks that comes with traditional manual or mechanical excavation. Save time and money with the precision that Tru Pipe, Inc. hydro excavation delivers for sign installation, telephone poles, fences and cathodic protection.

Slot Trenching

Dig narrow trenches for installing pipes, cables or other in-ground utilities with Tru Pipe’s hydro excavation. With non-destructive and efficient slot trenching methods, even frozen surfaces can’t stop us. Accurate hydro excavation makes it easy and safe to make installations without the risk of damaging previously installed systems or lines as well.

Piling Hole Excavation

With hydro excavation’s precision, you can get the exact diameter and shape of piling hole required. We can excavate quickly in many soil conditions and remove the soil at the same time. Unlike the risk with augers or manual digging, underground utilities that may be uncovered are not harmed.

Cold Weather Excavation

Tru Pipe, Inc. hydro excavation trucks are equipped with truck-mounted heaters, so cold weather does not deter us from working. Earlier methods for digging in cold weather included thawing the frozen soil first… sometimes with coal or wood. Clean, environmentally-friendly hydro excavation allows water to do all the work through frozen earth and ground frost. This can save considerable labor and material costs, as well as precious construction days.

Culverts

Culverts can fill up with silt and rock over time or during floods.  We can keep culverts and cattle guards clean with regular maintenance.

Digging in Congested Areas

When work needs to done in tight spaces or congested traffic areas, Tru Pipe’s hydro excavation equipment can work remotely many feet away from the area. This eliminates further congestion and disturbance to the actual worksite.
